Dear FHFC Membership,
I would like to introduce myself to everyone at the Club. My name is Chris Coppler and I am the latest addition to the new staff at Forest Hill. It is my pleasure to begin serving this membership as the Golf Shop Manager/Membership Director.
As the Golf Shop Manager I will be helping Head Pro Vince Ramagli with the merchandising and sales in the Golf Shop. We are receiving products each day and by months end will have a variety of apparel and equipment. We will stock popular items such as TaylorMade, Adidas, Callaway, Cleveland, Titleist, FootJoy, and Sun Mountain. Additions for this year will include Ashworth, Vineyard Vines, Ping, Sport Haley, and Sun Ice Outerwear.
I want to inform everyone that the Golf Shop will now have a state of the art launch monitor for club fittings. Vince and Assistant Pro Chris Dahl will be able to use the latest technology to make sure your club purchases are customized for your golf game.
If you have not signed up for the Spring Stableford or Mens Opening Day Events please feel free to call us at the Golf Shop (973-743-9611) and we will be glad to sign you up. Spring Stableford will be a 9:00 a.m. Shotgun start on Saturday, April 2nd and Opening Day on Saturday, April 9th will be tee times which you may sign up with your own foursome. We look forward to seeing your participation in these events! *** In the event of incliment weather this Saturday's Spring Stableford will be rescheduled to Saturday April 23rd. Please contact the golf shop on Friday April,1st to find out if the postponement will take place. ***
Last but definitely not least, I want to ask for your help with my Membership Director duties. At my previous club, as Manager of Golf Operations I was also responsible for Membership during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. I believe that having a golf employee as the membership contact is a great advantage to help recruit potential members. However, success cannot be achieved without the help of current members promoting their club. Through my first week working here I have met many of you in the Golf Shop and Grill Room. Every single person has shown a positive and inviting personality. I see the people at FHFC have a great sense of pride for their membership and I hope that attitude carries over to your friends who are not members here ... yet. I ask that if you know someone who would be interested in being a part of this great club to please contact me so I can invite them for a tour and further discuss their options to join.
